CoworkingPunto is at Calle Juan Sebastián Elcano 12, in the centre of town, and it’s listed on the official Canary Islands tourism website among the recommended places for remote workers in Fuerteventura.
- Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00; Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00.

Watch out for the split opening hours: if you work with clients in the Americas and need to be online in the late afternoon or evening, CoNomad, with 24-hour access, will suit you better.

3. What happened to the 2021 coworking spaces?
If you found this guide because you read our previous list, we owe you this update. Of the five spaces we recommended in 2021:
- CoNomad (Co-nomad.life): still open, with a new website and new prices.
- Baifo Coworking: its website stopped working in 2022 and we couldn’t find any current information; everything suggests it has closed.
- Co.Space Fuerteventura: we found no sign that it’s still running.
- Hub Fuerteventura and Cofete Coworking: their websites no longer have any information and we couldn’t confirm they’re still open.
We’d rather not recommend places we can’t verify. If you know of a new coworking space in Corralejo, write to us and we’ll add it.
4. Working remotely in Fuerteventura: the climate
One of the island’s big advantages is that the weather hardly ever forces you to change your plans. According to AEMET, Fuerteventura airport gets less than 100 mm of rain a year, on about 16 days, and more than 2,800 hours of sunshine:
| Month | Average high (°C) | Average low (°C) |
|---|---|---|
| January | 20.6 | 14.7 |
| February | 21.0 | 14.8 |
| March | 22.2 | 15.5 |
| April | 22.9 | 16.0 |
| May | 24.1 | 17.1 |
| June | 25.8 | 19.1 |
| July | 27.3 | 20.8 |
| August | 27.8 | 21.5 |
| September | 27.5 | 21.2 |
| October | 26.1 | 19.8 |
| November | 24.0 | 17.7 |
| December | 22.0 | 15.9 |

What you will feel is the wind, especially in summer. It’s not a problem for working, but it’s worth keeping in mind if you’re planning to work from a terrace or the beach.
5. Internet and connectivity for work
For us, the connection is the first thing we check before booking accommodation to work from. Our tips:
- Ask about the wifi speed before booking and, if you can, ask for a screenshot of a speed test.
- Always have a plan B: an eSIM or a local SIM card with data saves you when the wifi drops or when you’re working away from home.
- For important video calls, a coworking space is the safest option.
6. Corralejo as a base for digital nomads
Corralejo is the liveliest area in the north of the island. You have supermarkets, restaurants, gyms and the port, where boats leave for Lobos Island and Lanzarote. The Grandes Playas and the dunes are a few minutes away, and in half an hour by car you can reach El Cotillo or Calderón Hondo volcano.
On the other hand, it’s the most touristy town in the north. If you’re looking for more peace and quiet, El Cotillo is a good alternative, and if you prefer the south, in our guide to Gran Tarajal we explain what it’s like to live there for long stays.
To get around the island on your days off, a car is the most practical option: we explain it in renting a car in Fuerteventura.

Yes. The climate is mild in every season: according to AEMET, at the island’s airport the average high ranges from about 21 °C in winter to about 28 °C in August, and it rains very little. That’s why many digital nomads choose the island in winter too.
